I bring a diverse background in real estate, business ownership, construction, and community leadership that would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to our HOA Board of Directors. I previously served on the Arapahoe Ridge HOA Board in Erie, Colorado, a community of more than 600 homes with extensive amenities, giving me firsthand experience with HOA operations and the responsibilities of board leadership. As an experienced local Ormond Beach Realtor, I understand the local real estate market and the factors that contribute to maintaining and enhancing property values. I also owned and operated Realty Ventures, a real estate company in Lafayette, Colorado, and owned Artisan Homes in Boulder, Colorado, giving me valuable experience as a small business owner. Additionally, as a licensed general contractor, I have built several homes and completed renovations on residential and commercial properties. These experiences have provided me with a strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, project oversight, organization, and long-term property maintenance. I would welcome the opportunity to put my experience, practical knowledge, and commitment to our community to work in support of our homeowners and the continued success of our neighborhood.
Why I want to serve on the Board of Directors:
I would like to serve on the HOA Board of Directors because I believe strong communication, community involvement, and a shared vision are essential to maintaining a thriving neighborhood. I would welcome the opportunity to serve as a liaison between the Board and our residents, helping to improve communication, transparency, and understanding of HOA matters. I hope to bring fresh ideas, a new perspective, and a collaborative approach to addressing the needs and interests of our community. I would also like to contribute to enhancing the beauty and appeal of our neighborhood, maintaining and increasing the value of our homes in the neighborhood, streamlining communication and organizational processes, and finding meaningful ways to bridge the gap between the business responsibilities of the HOA and the social needs of our residents. Ultimately, my goal is to help foster a more connected, informed, and engaged community where residents feel heard, valued, and proud to call Halifax Plantation home.
